Kitchen & Breakout Refurbishment - Eddisons, Canary Wharf
Client: Begbies Traynor Group (via Eddisons)
Location: 31st Floor, 40 Bank Street, Canary Wharf
Project Scope: Full kitchen and breakout area creation and refurbishment
Begbies Traynor Group, through Eddisons, sought to modernise and optimise their workspace on the 31st floor of 40 Bank Street in Canary Wharf.
The existing office featured an outdated roller filing system and an undersized, dated kitchen that occupied valuable space. ReSpace was tasked with transforming the area into a modern, functional, and stylish breakout space, better suited to the needs of their staff.
Our approach to the project:
Challenges and Solutions
Optimising Space for Modern Needs:
The existing kitchen and filing system were removed to maximise usable space. This allowed for the creation of a larger, more open breakout area that could comfortably accommodate staff.
Design and Build of New Spaces:
A glass-fronted breakout space was designed and built to provide a sleek, modern aesthetic while maintaining a sense of openness.
Two small meeting rooms were added, enclosed with acoustic-rated glass partitions and double-glazed acoustic-rated doors to ensure privacy and minimise noise disruption.
Premium Finishes and Features:
The new kitchen was fitted with high-end Corian worktops, offering a durable and stylish finish.
An instant hot/chilled water tap was installed to enhance convenience for staff.
Stylish parquet flooring added warmth and character to the space, complementing the modern design.
Project results
Always a pleasure to see the successful completion of a project. This time in Canary Wharf - A new kitchen room with two small team rooms.
The transformed space now includes a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and a breakout area that meets the needs of staff, providing a modern and welcoming environment.
The addition of acoustic-rated meeting rooms further enhances the functionality of the office, ensuring a balance between collaborative and private workspaces.
